Checking in

  • Check-in is at 4pm.

  • Check-in is contactless. Please check your email for all information - including your door code! It should have come from ‘office@wishbox.co’ with a subject line of: ‘Confirmation email for [guest name]’.

  • Be sure to double-check the actual time. Some cell phone providers bounce off of the Mexico cell towers in a different time zone!

  • If you’re having any trouble, don’t hesitate to call or text the on-site manager at 432-538-2569.

  • As a reminder, we do not allow children 12 years or younger, pets, or outside guests that are not staying on the property.

The Main House

  • The Main House is open for guests to enjoy 24/7.

  • Best drinking water is filtered in the two silver Berkeys.

  • Please clean up after yourself and don’t leave dishes in the sink.

  • Please be thoughtful of your fridge and freezer use.

  • Please take food with you after departing or leave it with a note.

  • Helo yourself to coffee, tea, spices, and all kitchen tools and appliances.

  • Don’t take food or alcohol of other guests.

  • The microwave is in the gray + teak cupboard.

  • Feel free to change the music on the iPad.

  • Firewood can be purchased at Cottonwood General (same with food and most other things…5 min away).

  • There are two outdoor grilling options: Propane Flat Top and charcoal/ember burning Millscale Grill.

  • The fire pit area outside the main house is for all guests to use. Please bring your own firewood. If you are planning to cook on our Millscale Open Fire Grill set-up, please bring wood and/or firewood.

  • The password for all WiFi networks is Terlingua (capital T). WiFi can be spotty in the casitas but works excellent in the Main House.

Other Helpful info

  • Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Park are open! We recommend downloading the AllTrails app for details on hikes.

  • Starlight Theatre is the go-to dinner spot in Terlingua. Long Draw Pizza and Espresso y Poco Mas are other favorites. La Posada Milagro is great for breakfast/coffee and lunch.

  • Cottonwood General is 3.8 miles from the property. It is the best place to get basic groceries and necessities. Open daily.
